How EVAP LeakChek Works:
The EVAP LeakChek is a patented tool that utilizes visible vapor and UV technology to safely and accurately test a vehicle's fuel recovery (Evap) system for leaks. Unique to its patented design, the EVAP LeakChek is a dual-phase tool.
Utilizing an inert gas such as nitrogen, Phase-One tests the integrity of the vehicle's evaporative system by quickly determining if in fact a leak exists. You can also quickly determine if the vehicle is governed by a 0.020" (.5 mm) or 0.040" (1 mm) acceptable leak requirement standard.
